Grant Thornton is delighted to announce Elizabeth McNamara has joined as a Partner in the Corporate Tax team, commencing Monday 5 August 2024 in the Sydney office.

With over 17 years’ experience, and most recently as Director within a Big 4 Tax practice, Elizabeth advises clients on international and corporate taxation matters. In addition she has deep industry knowledge in the tourism, agriculture, retail, education and health sectors.

Elizabeth is a respected advisor renowned for simplifying complex concepts to provide practical guidance and specialises in advising on corporate tax matters including the implementation of pre-sale restructures, tax losses and capital gains tax rollover concessions, cross-border transactions, and other tax advisory services.

“I’m excited to join Grant Thornton’s Corporate Tax team and I’m keen to understand the clients and their unique needs, their businesses, and environments they operate in,” Elizabeth said.

“Elizabeth brings a wealth of corporate tax experience across a variety of industries. Her expert understanding in complex tax matters will enhance our offering to clients and we’re pleased to welcome her to the team,” said Sandie Boswell, National Managing Partner – Tax at Grant Thornton.
