Grant Thornton is excited to announce our upcoming event in the Adelaide Lawyers Series, ‘Shareholder Disputes & Business Valuations: What the Courts are telling us!’.

In this session, Thomas Caldow, Forensics Partner will share insights from recent judgments including:

The appropriate standard of value in shareholder oppression matters
The use of EBIT or EBITDA when assessing the future maintainable earnings of a business
The concept of ‘market value’

This session will be relevant for lawyers who engage business valuation experts in matters including commercial litigators, family lawyers and estate litigation lawyers.
