Grant Thornton is excited to announce our upcoming event in the Adelaide Lawyers Series, ‘Shareholder Disputes & Business Valuations: What the Courts are telling us!’.

In this session, Thomas Caldow, Forensics Partner will share insights from recent judgments including:

  • The appropriate standard of value in shareholder oppression matters
  • The use of EBIT or EBITDA when assessing the future maintainable earnings of a business
  • The concept of ‘market value’

This session will be relevant for lawyers who engage business valuation experts in matters including commercial litigators, family lawyers and estate litigation lawyers.

There will also be an opportunity to network and share ideas with your peers at drinks following the session.

We look forward to seeing you there.
