Experience

Mauri joined Grant Thornton with 20 years experience in public practice. He graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Business and was appointed as a Manager in 1994 and Director in 2003 with his previous firm.  Mauri was admitted as a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1991 and is also a Member of the Taxation Institute of Australia. He has until recently, been a committee member of Family Business Australia (WA Chapter).

Mauri's expertise is in family business consulting, business and private taxation, advisory services and financial management.

Mauri’s experience also extends to managing and advising a number of clients in relation to their company secretarial requirements.

Sector experience

Mauri’s client work, including two major Western Australian Government contracts, has enabled him to travel throughout Western Australia and internationally. Mauri is a director in the Privately Held Business team at Grant Thornton.
